Good Movie...Could be better

I think the movie was a brilliant idea: taking a classic story and twisting it up making it a true Tim Burton vision. The main problem I had was that the story line was rushed. So much happened in 109 min. that the story itself seemed to have no base to build on. Effects were great, and Johnny Deep was as I expected. But to me it was over hyped and not well plotted.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
