Great 3D movie with stunning animation

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It does take liberties from the original story but the unique plot was refreshing. I expected the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp) to have more of a major role in the movie since most advertisements portray him as the lead. However, similar to the original story, Alice (Mia Wasikowska) is the main protagonist in the story as she ventures through Underland. The visuals were stunning as expected. The character development was poor, as many viewers who have never seen the Disney cartoon or read the book, will not understand the the true essence of the characters. Overall, this movie was delightful, warmhearted, and worth seeing.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
