A true re-imagining- cannot be compared to Alices of the past, is simply a different animal. Mia Wasikowska was forgettable, Helena Bonham Carter was remarkable. Engaging story, no character development. Worth seeing, but IMAX and 3D are unnecessary.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
