Not worth the 3D....

I loved the movie (but am very partial to Johnny Depp and Tim Burton), but thought that the 3D version was a waste of an extra $2.00. I think the movie was too dark to have any benefit from the movie. I always judge a 3D movie on how many times my 5 yr old "reaches" out to grab something....she only did that once.
I think the storyline was a little difficult for my 5 yr old to get, my 9 yr old thought it was fine.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
