Tim Burton did the franchise justice. Even though I am not the biggest fan of 3D, and since the movie wasn't really made for it, i thought that it was quite enjoyable all the same. The acting was top notch, it was funny when it needed to be, and the special effects were amazing. Being a fan of the Alice series I was glad to see that both books were represented in the movie (even though they made the red queen and the queen of hearts the same character...) and it was really interesting to see how some of the minor characters in the book got a heavy overhaul and became some of the main characters in the movie. Job well done Mr. Burton (and cast)
