This movie will be what all 3D movies will be compared to.
The visual effects are worth the price of admission alone. This is a new high in CGI effects blended seamlessly where it is very difficult to tell real from fake.
The story, while predictable, is well told. It is well laid out with an even flow and no major gaps. There is a little bit of something for everyone; special effects, boy-meet-girl, fight scenes, moral story.
For IMAX, be sure to get a seat further back. We got stuck in the front row and it really ruined the experience, especially compared to Real3D. The fast action sequences were very blurred and the quality of the 3D was not as robust.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
