People who think Tim Burton may have "lost it" couldn't be more wrong. He is back and in his zone with Dark Shadows. The movie he put together is brilliant, that's the only way to put it. Johnny Depp shines in this, as always. He becomes Barnabas Collins. There really were no weak characters in this. It is an all around great film...a must see!
Pros well paced, great story, great actors

Everything It Was Supposed To Be

It's important to remember why this movie was made. It is for Hunter S. Thompson. That was really Johnny Depp's main focus. With that said, he made a beautiful film for his late friend. Aside from the film's purpose, if I had gone to see this with no knowledge of it's back story, I still would have enjoyed it. It was funnier than I was expecting and there was romance throughout. I was definitely interested the entire two hours. It is worth the price of a ticket because as usual, Johnny Depp delivered.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is the best out of these movies since the first one. Fresh, funny and exciting, it will not disappoint fans. The news characters fit in wonderfully and the returning ones remind us of why we fell in love with POTC in the first place. A definite must-see for everyone!
Being an avid Johnny Depp fan, I see all of his movies whether they look amazing or just strange. This movie looked good but I figured it was going to be more for little kids. I am happy to say that I was wrong. This movie had humor that the entire family enjoyed and though there were a few slow parts, everyone in the theater seemed interested from start to finish. Definitely recommend!

It is no secret that The Tourist had a lot of build-up. Two of the biggest stars in Hollywood were coming together to make a movie for the first time. So the question is, did it live up to it's standards?
The answer is yes. The chemistry between Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie was brilliant. Both sexy stars gave the audience a fair amount of romance and action and I was surprised that there was even a bit of comedy in the film.
The movie truly was awesome. It was the kind of rare picture that actually was as good as it looked to be. I recommend everyone see it, because movies like this just don't come around often enough.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Being a huge Tim Burton fan and an even bigger Johnny Depp fan, I was very excited for this movie and had high expectations as soon as I heard this film was being made. I went to the 3D midnight showing and was not disappointed at all. It felt as if I was literally in Wonderland right alongside Alice, experiencing the magic. The characters were funny and stayed very close to the original ones, the lines and acting was impressive, and the artwork and scenery were breathtaking. This movie will make you laugh and take you on an exciting adventure. Mia Wasikowski, Helena Bonham Carter, and Anne Hathaway were delightful and Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter was amazing. I definitely recommend it and can't wait to see it again tonight!
