To start off, I am a huge Evil Dead fan! Anyone giving this movie less than 4 stars is living in the past and needs to take this movie for what it is. A re-imaging of a cult classic! Stop comparing it to the original series and go in fresh. This movie has great art direction and a fantastic atmosphere. Fede does a great job of pacing and gets the brutal tension just right! The gore flows freely and has a real feel of horror movies from generations past. While watching, I got the same feeling I had when I first started watching horror films, excitement, dread and satisfaction. We finally have a real horror film, something that has been sorely lacking in the last 20 years. Major kudos to everyone involved and for Campbell, Raimi and Tapert for backing this 100%. I cannot wait to see what's next!
Pros well paced, great story, great actors, fantastic atmosphere

Best Star Trek since Wrath of Khan! Fresh new look while capturing the Essence of the franchise. Do not pass up this Incredible movie!
