Good Family Movie

I went to this with my 7 year old, and it was a good family movie. It was fast paced and did not feel 2 hours long. The characters were interesting to watch and the action was fun. As said in other reviews, there were some semi-scary parts where I had to hold my son's hand, but nothing over the top or excessively gory. The only problem I had with it is that the God's suspicion of Percy is never really justified or explained. Why pick him out of all the kids of the gods to suspect of theft? I went out and bought the book(yes I know it's vastly different). Now my son and I will get a more complete picture of the story. It's a fun Saturday afternoon trip to the theatre.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
