Satisfying Remake

I really enjoyed the combination of fear, brought on through anticipation of what was about to happen, along with a decent amount of gore. While some things were a little foreseeable, there were also scenes that had me jumping which is always a plus! And I definitely appreciated that it was not a scary movie that had me almost laughing out loud in the theater due to how stupid or ridiculous the scene played out. Not my favorite horror flick, and perhaps not even in my top 20, but I would still recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys decent horror flicks, flecked with a respectable amount of gore.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
