When I heard that Avatar was nearly 3 hours long, I knew I'd never see it. I usually don't have the patience to watch movies for more than 2 hours. I'm happy my husband pushed me to see the IMAX 3D format. The movie was spectacular. It was so realistic I ducked my head a couple of times to avoid being hit by a flying object. Lol. Avatar is action packed, fast moving, has breath taking images, and has the potential of raising social consciousness. Avatar is a fabulous example of the art of visual story telling.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
