Wonderland Wonder

Overall the movie was good though I won't call it Tim Burton's best film. The visuals are amazing; wonderland is made real. The film's music was great and sets the mood of the story. What caught my eye is the costumes which I'm sure are going to be big hits this Halloween. Johnny Depp's performance left something to be desired. It felt like he was taking characters from previous movies and combining them to make the Mad Hatter. I wish Anne Hathaway acted a little more naturally as the White Queen rather than acting phony. I really liked Mia Wasikowska as Alice and hope to see her in more films. I recommend this to anyone who loves fantasy, fashion or getting lost in wonderland, but don't take my opinion; go see it and decide.
