AVATAR was so heavily hyped that I was worried that I would go in and end up underwhelmed. I feared that even if the movie was good, it wouldn't live up to the hype. I couldn't have been more wrong. This movie was incredible! It was a complex balance of excellent story, believable characters, and jaw-dropping effects. I have to admit that it even bordered on a nearly spiritual awakening or religious experience. I didn't want the movie to end. It's been a long time since I was truly transported by a film and this one didn't disappoint. It did more than live up to the hype... it exceeded it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
