Good movie and your tweens will enjoy it. There are a few good comic reliefs strewn in there occassionally but maybe more character delevopment and better acting would make it more believable.
Go see it if you want something different as far as the story line goes.

The movie is pretty depressing...why is it always the brute and the corrupt that tends to survive armageddon? Denzel did a good job although I kept getting transported to his "Training Day" character so the movie wasn't as believable to me.
Rent it.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Want to get transported to another world? Go see this movie. Although the storyline is not anything new, great visuals in the movie. Don't think it would be appropriate for kids under 10 but not a waste of money.

Very good movie. Tip is to make sure to pay attention to details, especially at the beginning of the movie! Great job to Scorseses in directing the film. You will most likely jump back and forth as to how the movie will end, but that anticipation is part of the movie's charm.
