Ok so the effects are great- and they should be for the huge budget that Cameron had to work with. That's the only thing that was cool about this movie. The story is idiotic garbage for the weak minded. 2 hours and 40 minutes???? My God, this debacle could have been wrapped up in 90 minutes and I wouldn't be so pissed off that I sat through it- honestly I would've walked out after 30 minutes but my girlfriend loves weird creatures and insects, so I knew she was enjoying herself- and I love her more than I hated this movie. Sam Worthington was a complete waste of digital space as an actor-he brought all the depth of a cardboard cut-out to the movie. Here's the story: greedy white miners -BAD!! weird looking tree hugging smurf cats GOOD!!!
No, I do not recommend this movie.
