Shutter Island Never Opened Up

Best thing about this movie was the hype leading up to it. Had me slavering to see it. Points out how important marketing and trailers are to Hollywood. It was disappointing, though.Too long. Non-credible plot. Good performance by di Caprio, but other great actors like Kingley and Sydow were wasted. The ending sucked. Was he marching off to a lobotomy? Who knew? Who cared?
They would have done better to make it a straight-up horror flick, a la Island of Dr. Moreau.
