My entire household read and love the book series. Even with the changes, we enjoyed the movie very much. There were changes from the book, but most of the events are still in the movie - Percy's school/home, Camp, Auntie Em's, Lotus Casino, Hollywood, and the main characters are there. We all liked the movie so much that we've seen it twice and plan to see it again. The cast is great. Logan Lerman is perfect as Percy.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
