i have seen the first two twighlight movies and i think they are steadily improving. there isn't much you can do about the characters, bella is just as bland and lifeless as in the books and edward is just as bad. they both look "pained" all the time. jacob is at least full of life and those abs are dead sexy. the makeup artist needs to go back to school, vampires should be beautiful and pale not ghastly, unless attacking you. i'm team jasper and alice!

i thought it started off kind of cheesy, on a boat going to this island. then i realized it's just an attempt to authenticate the time the movie is based in. there were no high action scenes and the ending was ambiguous, but overall i think it was good. it met my expectations from the previews, but it could have had more meat to it. i want to read the book now to see if it offers more insight. guys might get bored, but to the thinkers, that enjoy a little psycological drama without lots of blood, yeah those people, they might appreciate it for what it is.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
