Dividing the Final Book into 2 movies is an excellent plan, we'll get to see the whole book play out, as opposed to condensing it. But a side effect of this is that the first movie is very story bound and there isn't the usual taste of all the other Harry Potter Movies. But as a fan I was drawn in the entire time, the images are grand, the fighting excellent and all the actors have gorwn and become amazing at their roles. Be prepared this Book is the darkest of all the Harry Potter books and since you only get to see one half, your left on the dark side of things in the end. See it in IMAX, there is no better way to see this extraordinary movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Another excellent Disney installment, and very pleased to see the story of Repunzel, one that is less known amoung children. Both my boys and my girls sat through with great big eyes and laughed and cheered along. Musical numbers are fun and entertaining, but not sure they'll win any oscars. Great movie for all ages and so much fun to see a strong female and male role portrayed together.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Go for the music and dancing

I was attracted by the musical numbers and dancing, knowing that Christina and Cher could really put on a show, and I was VERY surprised that Christina could actually act and that the writing and directing really held up well and made the movie flow. It could have easily fallen into the "Crude sexual" category but the director and actors were persistent on presenting the Burlesque numbers as classy and true to the old school burlesque ways.
