Worth Seeing But....

Let me start by saying that I love movies and I could probably watch a blank screen and enjoy it. Avatar was a beautiful movie to watch, not because of the story or the acting, but for the visual richness presented on the screen. The story was actually quite boring and I never felt real fear for the main character since he spent most of the movie in a box while his Avatar was doing the fighting. By the time he actually is in real danger at the end, I didn't care. I was ready for the movie to be over. I know the movie is doing great and is hitting its target audience. If I were 12, I'll bet I'd love it. While I'm glad I saw it, it was just OK.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
