2nd time saw Avatar--Enjoyed even more in 3D. 23-yr-old son having autism spectrum disorder & I enjoyed special computer effects & action scenes. I thought movie combined plots of Fern Gully, Dancing With Wolves, Star Wars & maybe some Die Hard--some lines stereotypic, but basically worked in movie. Enjoyed 3D aspects of having ash 'fall on audience' & Elwah seedlings floating 'in theater'. Son enjoyed avatar characters--has been into Avatar cartoons & video games with action/hero plots. We want to see Avatar 3D Imax now. Would get DVD for adult family get togethers. (Partner's eyes became sensitive & tired @ 3D effects--watching on DVD would be good for those having problems with 3D effects.)
Yes, I recommend this movie.
