After my 3 kids read the books and wanted to see the movie, I decided to read Lightning Thief myself. I understand that the movie cannot put everything in it that the book has, but I was very disappointed in the movie. They didn't just leave things out, they changed things!After reading Harry Potter and seeing those movies, I have to say they did a better job of bringing the book to life!!!!!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
