Entertaining, and that's about it.

A nice looking film, though the 3D and IMAX didn't add much. This movie is Dances With Wolves with blue people instead of Native Americans. Every single plot element from Avatar was in Dances w/ Wolves. This movie did nothing new at all.
Calling the precious metal unobtainium was just plain silly. Unobtainium, like Adamantium (Think Wolverine), is another of those fictional metals from comic books. I have no idea why they went there especially when the name of the metal is not important. And the planet's name is Pandora. Could there have been a clumsier metaphor?
An entertaining diversion. Pretty sights. Fun action scenes. But it feels like a big cheat with a political agenda.
