Many of the comments are right on regarding the camerawork. There are times when the shooting was blurry. If the camera had been a little farther away, the tracking of the action would have caused less blur.
There were many times when the dialogue was less than clear. Ultimately, it was comprehensible. Comparing this to the Lord of the Rings, which was not 3D, I don't think 3D enhanced the movie; there were a couple of cute episodes, but the movie, itself did not need to be 3D.
Overall, this is an excellent prelude to Lord of the Rings, even with the cinematic flaws. I wonder how the "Enhanced" version would be???
