Throughly enjoy the movie! What I would expect from J.J. Abrams and Spielberg... I liked that it was set in 1979, but there were some continuity problems with that... i.e.: "Shut Up!" was not commonly used in that manner. The bikes the kids were riding were more current day that what you would have seen in 1979. The missing dog poster had the phone number tear-offs, that was not done in 1979. The backpacks were not a common item for kids then either. Now my 15 year old didn't notice any of that... it looked natural to him. And he and my husband called it artistic license... The action and suspense was great! The train wreck! Awesome. Very fast paced... would have liked a better ending... but would watch again! Great cast of kids... reminded me of the Goonies.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Wow! I love the Matrix, this movie is better! You better be awake for this one... if not, you will be! You wouldn't know it's 2 1/2 hours long, your mind is so wrapped up in what's going on. You'll be talking about it when you leave the theatre...

A fantastic rendition of A Christmas Carol... I loved 1970's Scrooge that scared me to pieces in the theater as a child... This is it and more!! Will scare young children, but is awesome animation... so realistic... added to the story... can't wait to own this!
