I'm amazed at the critics' reviews of this movie. Do we have to have it in "cartoon" form for them to like it? My Mom and I are werewolf movie fans and were not going to go see this due to the reviews. I'll never, ever let a review stop me from seeing a movie again. This has to be the best gothic movie I've seen in a long time, not to mention that I wasn't bored at all!! The photography was awesome, the acting was, haha, I'd say at least as good as Lon Chaney's and the one blunder I saw was the fight between the werewolves. Otherwise, it was extremely entertaining and lived up to what I expected of Anthony Hopkins and the "horror" genre. Good film - don't let the critics stop you from seeing this one, my werewolf fan friends.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
