Went with my daughters - one had seen the play 8 times, the other 4 times and me 3 times. We had the opportunity to go the Wednesday before it closed, so we saw this cast and let me tell you - we LOVED the movie. My older daughter commented that she can't wait for it to come on DVD so she can watch it once a week. The editing was great, capturing lots of little details that you don't always see when watching it on stage. Wish the theater had turned the volume up more to crank the music. But other than that it was amazing. We were sobbing by the end.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
