I thought the effects saved this movie. My wife was dying to see it, so I took her for Valentine's Day. A friend and fellow movie buff/home theater enthusiast recommended it highly. He is a sci-fi fan as is my wife, I am not. They both loved the movie while I thought it was just OK.. the plot was very predictable and was all over the place.. however, the 3-D effects were worth the price od admission. If they can reproduce that in Blu-Ray 1080p, I will be all over it for my home theater.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
