A Tim Burton Thrillride!

Tim Burton scores huge with this captivating adaptation of material that seems perfect for his quirky and unusual filmaking style.
Johnny Depp's predictably stellar performance as "The Hatter" was nearly eclipsed by that of the delightfully mean Red Queen played by Helena Bonham Carter. Mia Wasikowska's portrayal of Alice was equally as impressive and I'm sure we will be seeing much more of her for years to come.
Fast paced and visually thrilling, the film never seemed to drag or linger in one place for very long. 3D visuals were excellent as was the sound in the IMAX format.
Although the film is a Walt Disney release, parents should be aware of scenes and imagery that may be upsetting to younger children (under10). Highly recommended.
