A disappointment in every dimension!

I am a great fan of the original Nickelodeon animated series.
All that I can say is that I was supremely disappointed in the sophomoric acting, mediocre CGI, inaccurate and contrived story line, weak and nonsensical lines, snooze worthy dialogue, and non-magical characters.
Everything there was to love about the original was vampired away and we were only left with a bloodless rotting shell of what could have been.
The imaginative and creative original series will mourn and lament the thought of their child being subjected to such poor writing and direction from M. Knight. WHAT A SHAME!
The only moment that had me was when a child in the audience saw Appa for the first time he yelled out "APPA". I smiled and nodded. The movie itself was everything that is wrong with an adaptation for the movies. Somehow the 3D was an absolute afterthought. Robbed! I feel Robbed!
No, I do not recommend this movie.
