Cinematography was breathtaking. Was very good acting. Great cast. The scenes were not too graphic that involved the wolf. However, the climatic scene at the end was flat as well as the abrupt ending. Otherwise it was a good movie and I would recommend it.
I read the books, saw the coming attractions. I thought this would be amazing. It fell really flat for several reasons, the first being the characters. How do you say boring about the three main actors? And annoying. Especially the "goat." Additionally, the actors portrayal of Hades and Persephone...just awful interpretation. Also, I think it was insulting to African Americans that the only actors of color were portrayed as stereo-typical "fast-talking, jive-talking slang speaking" characters. I found that disgraceful and shameful. It made my skin crawl. The best thing about the movie was Pierce Brosnan. I will not see any additional movies in this series. On a positive note, my 7 year old liked it even though the goat annoyed her as well.
