All about the effects, not the story

If this movie were a conventional movie with say the level of effects that Starship Troopers had it would have been a B movie from the start.
The story is basically Dances with Wolves on a nother planet...only cheesier.
I also found that in between special effects sequesnces I was getting bored with the complete predictability of the story.
You'd think that they could afford a better writer (Cameron wrote it himself) with that budget.
It is definately worh seeing, but could have been a true classic with a better story and plotline.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
