A pleasant surprise in the spate of comic hero movies we've been subjected to the last few years. Downey Jr. is great. Paltrow is great. And, the chemistry between them is so genuine that you forget their acting - which I think is the whole point. It's good to know that Hollywood can put out action entertainment that also stands up as great filmaking. There's some story here to cling to, some believable and sympathetic characters and possibly one of the strongest bit of savvy casting to come along in ages. Skip Indiana Jones and go see Iron Man with the family.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
