Visually Spectacular, Lackluster Story

Like usual, Tim Burton did an amazing job when it comes to making a stunningly beautiful film. The make-up (especially The Mad Hatter's-- Johnny Depp) was exceptionally breathtaking. I enjoyed seeing the array of dresses Alice fashioned amidst her shrinking & growing phases, as well as, all of the other costumes. Helena Bonham Carter absolutely rocked the Red Queen!! I was, however, slightly disappointed that the story didn't hold my attention like all of Burton's other films, especially towards then end when you would normally be completely engaged in the story.. I found myself dozing off a bit. Being a visual person myself, I no less than loved it but it could have been even better with a great story.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
