Very Entertaining and Age Appropriate

We went to see this movie with my 11 year old son. He has read the entire Percy Jackson series and loves the books. We loved this movie. It was very entertaining and age appropriate for an 11 year old. Even us old people (the parents) enjoyed it. There was enough detail that we (the parents) were able to follow the plot easily even though we haven't read the books. this is a movie i wouldn't mind owning.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
