I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. The casting was pretty good -- Julia Roberts was perfect in this role -- and many of the other characters were convincing. However, Javier Bardem, wonderful actor as he is, was not convincing as a Brazilian. I'm fluent in Brazilian Portuguese and the fact that he is not was very evident. Otherwise, I have no complaints.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

i loved this movie! It was clever, witty, laugh out loud funny. Very well acted and completely plausible. It ended where it should, no melodrama, just some real-life pain and discomfort, and lots of heart-warming moments.
