In the world of cookie cutter movies that roll off the Hollywood assembly line, "The Book of Eli" stands a movie apart with its original plot/story line, excellent use of story telling elements, great acting, and mood. Why go see this movie? Because its message is not skin deep like most movies nowadays. Because you need to hear what it has to say. Because this movie asks some questions that you need to answer... that this entire generation needs to answer. Why see this movie? Because it will grip you intellectually, emotionally, psychologically and spiritually, and not let you go. That's what movies were meant to do.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
