Good for what it was intended to be.

Professional critics panned Valentine's Day as shallow and rehashed. But critics are never happy; they're not paid to be. However, we enjoyed this movie as the date night escapism for which it was written. Only one real surprise in the plot, but a strong cast with good -- if somewhat undeveloped -- performances throughout. We've all been on this ride before but that doesn't mean we won't enjoy the familiar scenery.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
