Not too familiar with the earlier Wolfam stuff and initially I was not interested in seeing this movie. However, I took a chance and I'm glad I did! I think they did a good job of creating a solid story around the Wolfman legend, and dealing with the 'human-beast' dilemma in the process.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
