My Children have read all the books but i never had. It was a much better movie then i anticipated when i took my 10 year old to see it. He informed me that the movie stayed pretty close to the books and that he looks forward to the next installment in the series. I would definetly take him to see more of this series.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
