Sorry I spent the money. The movie for movie's sake is fine but having read the books we were sorely dissappointed that the parts of the book that are so special were glossed over in the movie. Took 7 children to see this(11yr olds), one has a learning disability and identified with Percy; totally glossed over that major part in the movie. By omitting characters, it just becomes a fright fest rather than an enduring childrens tale of good vs. evil. We left feeling dissappointed. Very surprised the author permitted his story to be cut-up this way.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
