Ok, so I went to this movie with anticipation that I had just wasted $12 on a goofy pair of glasses and some stupid special effects... Wow, was I ever wrong! The 3D really enhanced the movie incredibly! I mean the movie itself would have been stunning and fun to watch even in regular projection (The story, while predictable held my attention through the entire 3 hours, and the visual effects were incredible, transparent and believable) but the 3d added a level that I have never experienced before.
All in all a great movie experience and well worth the trip, and expense. The only thing that would have made it better to me would have been iMax 3D, that would have been wild!
Great movie -- go see it IN 3D!
