They butchered my book! I can't believe that they had to go out of their way to create a competely different plot that had nothing to do with the most incredible book. They omited characters who are extremely vital to the book, left out key things that will affect the seriers immensly. Chris Columbus had such great material to work with and he had to go and change it for what? A bad movie in the making. I will not tell any of my friends to go see it and if they make another one of these movies I probably won't see it. The only thing that this movie had in common with the book is the title, and some of the characters. I just can't believe that they did this.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
