Not What i Expected

I've never seen the play - but have heard great things about it, so I was anxious to see the movie. It just seems that some of the songs are at very inappropriate times and it was a lot goofier that I expected. I LOVE going to musical plays - and I think I should have seen the play first.

Expected More from Dreamworks

Our family loves Shrek, Shark Tales and Madagascar and expected the same of this. The story line was good and the animation was spectacular. However, it got slow in the middle and was missing the humor that makes adults laugh out loud! Not our favorite Dreamworks movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
