Disappointing after reading the book.

The movie had NO emotional comparison to the book. Nicholas Sparks' book was way stronger. I read the book this past summer and really enjoyed it ! However, the movie missed to express the chemistry between John and Savannah. It's difficult to connect to John's past, and his time in the war. Even 9/11 was difficult to relate to. The ending was nothing like the ending of the book which was way more powerful. Overall, it was very disappointing. This could have been a fantastic production, but I feel chemistry and passion were missing. :(
