Great effects/interesting story

I really enjoyed seeing Avatar in 3-D at the IMAX theater. The audio and visual experience was amazing, and the forest world with all the interesting creatures that was the setting for most of the movie felt very real. Some of the aerial shots were breathtaking, including the shots of the 'floating mouintains'. This movie wasn't just about effects though, it had a story that was multi-faceted, complex, emotionally evocative and relevant for today's world. I have to give Avatar a thumbs up...it's worth seeing.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
