This film is for you if you desire something that will keep you engaged and thinking. As other reviewers have mentioned cinematography is excellent on top of a very solid story though there are times that it seems to add in unneeded elements.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Vincere in previews looked like it was going to be a very interesting film and though I cannot say it was horrible it was not necessarily great either. The performances of the actors are powerful but the story jumps back and forth a little too much and the amount of time spent focusing on the descent into madness of Mussolini's alleged first wife is a bit of overkill. Additionally, at the end of the film via text we learn that Mussolini's first child dies in an insane asylum but the movie does not address how or why the young man goes made.
if you are interested in unrecognized historical figures then this movie might be one to consider but I am not sure I can recommend seeing this a full price.
A raw and honest look at the potential challenges of interracial adoption. The movie could have benefited from additional background at certain points and it would have been nice to actually see the main character meet her birth family or possibly find out why her birth mother stopped communicating. Understandably there are privacy issues in a film of this type so it is understanding why these holes exist.
