I have not read the books, my daughter and wife did and they seen all the movies and asked me to go. It is what it is, a teenage love story. It does has some funny lines in it and some action.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

This was the best movie I have ever seen at the IMAX. The special effects were great, the story was good, and everyone in the family will enjoy it.
