I haven't read the book, and I was told the book was great. I am planning on reading the book now. The movie was good, it really hit home considering my hubby is in the Army. There were several times that I was crying. However, the ending wasn't good at all. It ended so fast, and I was hoping for more. Overall it was good though!!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
