Avatar is one of the most visually exciting movies ever produced. The 3D effects enhance the stunning world James Cameron has created, taking the viewer on a wondrous journey. The storyline is predictable and the dialog cliched at times, but there's more than enough here to hold your interest for two and a half hours.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
